About John Hoover

John is a native Texan and graduate of Denison High School, having lived in Grayson County since 1973. He holds an Associates of Science degree, a Bachelor of Science degree, and a Masters of Business Administration degree.

John Hoover began his career with Texas Instruments (TI) in 1979 prior to the 1997 Air Liquide acquisition of the TI chemical operations group. He performed a myriad of roles with Texas Instruments (TI) including silicon refining, manufacturing, finance, sales and planning. When TI was acquired by Air Liquide Electronics, US (ALEUS), John was the Total Gas and Chemical (TGCM) Manager for Sherman, Texas. In 1999 he was appointed Director of all US TGCMs and in 2006 became Director of Chemical Operations. In 2012 he accepted the role of Senior Director for ALEUS Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE), Risk, Quality and Training.

In 2015 he moved to the Air Liquide USA corporate team as Senior Director HSE and risk for the western USA zone. Three years later, he moved back to ALEUS in his most recent position of Senior Director of the Industrial Management team until his retirement on 11/1/2024.
